Just wondering how many of you made the switch-over to this new communication site. If you are in "Our Run Group" please post so I know you are here. Would love to hear any new thoughts or stories. Are the runs getting easier?
Wow..the wick away shirt and socks are awesome. I was in an aerobic state, I could have ran to California..lol Well, pacing yourself is key so you do get side stitches. I ran 6km yesterday and it was great...going for 7 next week. You realize your miles are a lot longer...so you are crushing me with those 13 miles...cuz. I will work my way there. Keep fit and healthy!
Who am I- family is everything to me! But it should not come with a cost-at one point in my life,I lost sight of who I was and got caught up in the hussle and bussle of life. I watched my husband continue to do all the things we once did together(running, biking, skiing) and FINALLY I had an epiphany. My competitive nature kicked in and I decided to challenge myself to run a marathon as he had done for years and I chose to fundraise in order to help fight for a cure! I thank my husband for quietly teaching me a life lesson. I deserve the gift of "mommy time". This is the time I take to do things that make me feel healthy,in both body and mind. My perfect day is when I manage to have it all at the same time. Since realizing this I have met a few gals that I run weekly with. We run various mountain trails eager to work out the stresses of our chaotic week.
